Shrinking Tube Control Systems (Model STCS-B)

The STCS-B is a shrinking system designed for processing heat shrinking tubes, with temperature and time control, based on hot hair devices. The system is designed for operation in fixed workbenches, allowing the adjustment of the tilt angle and also the adjustment of the vertical and horizontal clamps’ positon.

Features:

  • Adjustable parameters: process temperature, shrinking time, waiting time, etc;
  • 3 different operating modes: continuous, intermittent and pre-heating;
  • Programming of references (sequences of shrinking and waiting times), manually or through a PC
  • (STCS-RCT software); Easy/immediate selection of references, automatically:
  • using barcodes readers; manually: using arotating knob;
  • Use of labels for each shrinking time inside a reference;

Shrinking Tube Control Systems (Model STCS-L)

The STCS-L is a shrinking system designed for processing heat shrinking tubes, with temperature and time control, based on hot hair devices.

The system is specifically designed for operation in production line panels, allowing the adjustment of the vertical position and the adjustment of the system’s position on the line panel. The system also allows the adjustment of the vertical and horizontal clamps.

The vertical holding is done using a suspension reel (supplied separately) and the holding of the system tothe line panel is done through a suction vacuum pump.

  • Adjustable vacuum pump length;
  • Adjustable parameters: process temperature, shrinking time, waiting time, etc;
  • 3 different operating modes: continuous, intermittent and pre-heating;

Shrinking Tube Control Systems (Model STCS-PHD)

The “Shrinking Tube Control System – Portable Hand Device” (STCS-PHD) consists in a shrinking system for eat shrinking tubes, with control and monitoring, based on hot air devices.

The system was specially designed for line panel applications, with 2 separate parts: a control module and a very light portable shrinking system.

  • Adjustable parameters: process temperature, shrinking time, waiting time, etc;
  • 3 different operating modes: continuous, intermittent and pre-heating;
  • Can be used for normal splices and end-splices;
  • Air fault detection. Hot air device detection;

Shrinking Tube Control Systems (Model STCS-VM)

The “Shrinking Tube Control System – Vertical Movement”(STCS-VM) is a shrinking system for heat shrinking tubes, with control and monitoring, based on hot air devices.

The system is designed for large production requirements, since it can perform several shrinking operations at the same time. It also has an exchangeable shrinking chamber, locked by key, which is replaced very easy and quickly. This feature makes he system extremely flexible, since the same equipment can be used for several types of applications (e.g. normal sleeves, end-splices, ring terminals, etc.), changing only the shrinking chamber.

Shrinking Tube Control Systems (Model STCS-IR500)

The "Shrinking Tube Control System - InfraRed 500" (STCS-IR500) designed for processing heat shrinking tubes, used for water proof applications.


Features:
  • Adjustable parameters: process temperature, shrinking time, offset temperature, etc;

Shrinking Tube Control Systems (Model STCS-CS 19)

The “Shrinking Tube Control System – Conveyor System 19” (STCS-CS 19) is a shrinking system for heat shrinking tubes, with control and monitoring, based on infrared
resistors.

The system has a conveyor, that has 2 sets of timing belts that grips the wires with the sleeves and carries them inside an infrared oven for the shrinking process, then they are passed by a cooling zone and are deposit in a collection bin. This feature makes it ideal for large production requirements, since the throughput is determined by the rate at which the operator can load the assemblies.

  • Easy to use, easy to program. Use of labels for the shrinking time of a reference, in order to assist the operator;

Shrinking Tube Control Systems (Model STCS-RT)

The “Shrinking Tube Control System Ring Terminal (STCS-RT) is a shrinking system designed for processing heat shrinking tubes, based on infrared resistors.

The system has two workstations and a moveable oven. Each workstation is provided with support for tooling fixtures that can be used on to a variety od small components, such as ring terminals and small connectors, etc.

The operator loads the workpieces into the features in one of the workstations. Each workstation has a stopper that ensures the sleeves’ position. Once the workstation is loaded the operator presses two buttons and the oven slides into positon and performs the shrink. The operator then continues with loading/unloading the other workstation.

During the shrinking process the oven is locked into position and after the process it slides to the original position.
